2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
3 tsps vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup prunes cooked & chopped
1 cup pecans chopped
TOPPING:
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups buttermilk
3/4 teaspoons baking soda
6 tbsps butter
Sift together dry ingredients. Add oil, eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, prunes & nuts. Mix well. Pour into greased & floured bundt pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
TOPPING: Combine all in large pan & boil. While cake is still hot, pierce top well with fork. Spoon topping over till all is absorbed.
Refrigerate for several days before removing from pan.
